  • So pissed this is a timed exclusive, can't wait for more Skyrim.
  • 20 bucks? Seriously?
  • Now if only we could get some PC release info... Not that it matters when we have mods to keep us busy.
  • "Dawnguard is a timed Xbox exclusive." And not a single *** was given about this release.
  • Finally!

  • Finally!
  • I hope the new armor and weapons are awesome.
  • What does it mean by 'timed Xbox exclusive'? Does it just mean that Xbox gets it first?
  • Timed Exclusive? Seriously?

    Please Bethesda... it seems like you're giving the PlayStaion users the middle finger with all the bugs and glitches and incompatibilities they had to deal with in your game and then you refuse to give them updates that will enhance the gaming experience by far...

    Then you kick them in the arse and make the first Skyrim DLC a Timed Exclusive? Really?

    Sorry PlayStaion people, kind of sucks when your treated like trash!

    EDIT:

    @Liquid_Amnesia
    It is true that the Xbox 360 has always gotten Bethesda DLC's before the rest of the herd BUT they have NEVER been considered a timed exclusive as far as I'm aware.

    Also, yes it is true that other systems have had many problems with the game HOWEVER, PlayStation users have been tackled by it and Bethesda has done little to fix it.

    So yes, PlayStation users did get the shaft.

    @Bad-Guy-With-A-Cape
    Perfect example of how PlayStation users have been given the Middle Finger.

    By the way, If you already haven't fixed that glitch, just simply delete the Update Data on the PS3 and reinstall the updates for Skyrim. That's how I fixed it on my PlayStation version.

    I would also like to add that I own Skyrim on all platforms and know from first hand experience that the PlayStation version of the game has simply been ignored by Bethesda.

    With that said, I would also like to add that I have enjoyed my experience on the PlayStation more so then I have on any other console. It's just simply annoying and aggravating that Bethesda doesn't care, or cares very little about the experience of their game on the PlayStation 3.

    EDIT 2:

    @Vikingdragons
    I was referring to Bethesda never, to my knowledge, coming out with a Timed Exclusive in the past.

    Both Sony and Microsoft, and even Nintendo in some cases, do have their own timed exclusives with other companies. That has little to do with this though, now doesn't it?

    EDIT 3:

    @amateurhero101
    No, that's nothing of what I said, but perhaps that's how you preceived it?

    Basically I was saying that though Bethesda has released DLC's on the Xbox before the other platforms, they have never been considered timed exclusives.

    I hope you can comprehend my 6th Grade explanation up there, friend.

    @Liquid_Amnesia
    I am aware that Bethesda announced that they would first be bringing DLC's to the Xbox. they NEVER said anything about the "Timed Exclusive" title they were going to be giving it, which I find rather obnoxious.

    Also, I was speaking of past Bethesda games such as the Fallout's and the other Elder Scrolls dealing with the FACT, since you like them so much, that they have never said that their DLC will be a Timed Exclusive.

    Hope that clears it up a bit.

    @darkangelvxvx
    I did answer my own question as well as answer most of babble going on from before.

    I suggest you read the entire message board as well as my comment before posting. Thanks.

    @Vikingdragons
    What you say is true. Oblivion did have many fair exclusives for both the Xbox and PlayStation. Sadly, that was 5 years ago.

    We're not talking about Oblivion specifically though, are we?

    We're talking about how Bethesda has given little consideration to those people who play their games on the PlayStation, and that seems completely rude and absurd on Bethesda's part. Wouldn't you say?
  • Looking forward to the PS3 release just to see how much it breaks the game...and then to watch as gaming journalists give Bethesda another free pass for releasing broken products.
  • So, ready for this to drop. I've 20 bucks put back since January, for the inevitable DLC.
  • Not $5 or even $10 but a full $20 for DLC now? So now the game costs up to $80 and everyone is ok with that? No wonder developers and producers are drooling over an all Free to Play model for games, people can be duped onto paying anything.
  • Yay!

  • Only one month PS3/PC players have to wait.  I wouldn't get mad about timed exclusives.  Still plenty of awesome games from the last few years that people could play.  Hell, even Skyrim itself.

  • I traded in my copy long time ago and am planning on buying the GOTY Edition. Taking a huge break may make Skyrim feel refreshing and all the new content makes it even better.

  • No thanks I have Dragon's Dogma
  • I can't describe how much I hate that this is a timed exclusive....

  • My MS points are pending! BRING. IT. ON!!!

  • wait is it even coming out on pc?
  • I got to a 6-day camp today... WWHHHHHYYYYYYYY?!??!?!?!
