The lights are on
NIS America, the North American localizer and publisher of Nippon Ichi titles like Disgaea, has a new president.
Sohei Niikawa is the current president Nippon Ichi Software in Japan and is taking over the duties of former NIS America president, Haru Akenaga. It's unclear if much will change in regard to the Nippon Ichi games we will see here in America, but Niikawa does seem to want to expand into things like, "comic books, anime, music, movies, novels, and mobile games."
Email the author Kyle Hilliard, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
More Japenese games coming here would be great! I also like that he's trying to expand into books and whatnot. I find video game novels great reads.
Pretty ambitious guy!
Does this mean more JRPG's now??? I hope so
i hope this change is for the better (you never know) i've liked what nis has been doing so far so hopefully we'll still get good jrpgs from them and mmaybe more
Nippon Ichi all the way!!
Hope he does well.

I really want to see more games released in japan get localized for the United States. I haven't played any of their games but I do remember reading an article about two or three games they were going to localize. I want to try one of their games.
