Weekend Warrior 6/22/12

by Jack Gardner on Jun 22, 2012 at 02:00 PM

This weekend is a heady combination of assassination, Minecraft, military antique shopping, pinball, and more. Read on to nose into the staff’s personal lives!

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan to dive into the Avengers Chronicles tables for Pinball FX 2, and continue playing more Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. I forgot how many little aspects of AC annoy the crap out of me, but they don’t take away from the joy of sneaking up on rooftop guards and stabbing them in the back – or shoving them off to their death. I think I have a problem.

Andrew Reiner: I'm catching up on my RPGs. I hope to finish Dragon's Dogma on Saturday. Sunday will go to Kingdoms of Amalur. If I have time, I'll also try to get through Quantum Conundrum.

Kyle Hilliard: I’ll be writing news, playing Gravity Rush, and trying to find a babysitter to watch the baby so I can watch Brave. The baby’s not quite ready for movies. I’ve also jumped back into Resident Evil 4 HD randomly after Tim brought it up the office the other day, so I may play that some more. Also, Minecraft.

Josh Straub: In addition to cutting my teeth as a newbie in League of Legends, I will also enjoying the best Mexican food in Minnesota at Nacho Mama's in Stillwater while I go shopping for military antiques.

Andy McNamara: I officially have nothing planned for this weekend and that is glorious news. Diablo III, Avenger's Chronicles, and my bike will all be pastimes. Might even do some lounging at the pool.

Ben Hanson: This weekend, I hope to put the nail in the delightful coffin that is Xenoblade. Other than that, I’m hoping to play Quantum Conundrum on my computer. That should just about do it! Have a good weekend!

Ali Rapp: I'm visiting my parents this weekend, which means I'll mainly be doing these three things: Working on journal submissions (hold on, I need to adjust my monocle), playing Amnesia with my mother (she bought the Humble Indie Bundle because she's awesome), and eating deliciously fatty foods (I hope that includes fried lake fish). I'm also planning to spend some time outside rollerblading with my partner.

Jack Gardner: I’ll be delving into my latest Minecraft project this weekend, spending some time with Pinball FX 2, and as always StarCraft 2 and League of Legends. Outside of gaming, I’ll be going seeing my family tonight for a some sort of surprise and getting delicious Indian food on Sunday.

Tim Turi: This weekend I’m moving, which unfortunately doesn’t leave me tons of time to play games. If I can find a few minutes then I’ll probably spend them plugging away at Transformers: War for Cybertron. That is, if I’m not too busy watching the Transformers cartoon show.
