The lights are on
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli sees a free-to-play future for triple-A games, and his company is trying to make it happen. This might even include TimeSplitters 4.
In an interview with VideoGamer.com, Yerli set the course for his company, saying he wants all its future products to be free-to-play, including the creation of a social-entertainment platform called GFACE. This service would feature all free-to-play titles from Crytek as well as those from other companies. Crytek's recently announced Warface would appear on this platform.
Toward the end of the interview, naturally, the future of the TimeSplitter's franchise is broached. When asked about TimeSplitters 4, Yerli eventually says, "I love the picture of a TimeSplitters running on GFACE."
The timing dovetails nicely with the recent fan petition that went up asking for the game.

So possibly, wouldn't mind being able to play Timesplitters again =)
MAKE IT HAPPEN!!1!1111!ELEVEN
Sorry, but TimeSplitters has defined my childhood a lot :)
Please no how about that doesn't happen with f2p I suspect the new timesplitters would have some of its corners cut (awesome map editor, ai matches, more than likely the cool campaign) not to mention this is the one fps I prefer staying on consoles and well if its f2p that pretty much cuts the chances of that happening
Crytek I would love to see TS4 but please don't start that f2p thing until after its finished
This'll be awesome if it happens. Free to play for TS4? Sign me up!
I just don't see how'd it work in TS4. Would it be PC only? Would there still be single player? Split screen? How would they incorporate this F2p design into this game?
Future Perfect was the bomb! WOOOO!
