The lights are on
By now you’ve probably paged through our Gears of War: Judgment cover story and dived into our month-long coverage. If you have any lingering questions, now is the time to ask. We’re having Rod Fergusson, Epic Games' director of production, record a special-edition podcast where he answers your queries on Judgment.
We’ll be recording the podcast very soon, and it’s up to readers like you to supply us with a host of interesting questions to keep Rod busy. Leave your questions in the comments below and hopefully we’ll get an answer for you!
What do you want to know about Gears of War: Judgment?
Email the author Tim Turi, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
is there going to be a beta for this game?
Rod, can you discuss lessons learned from Gears 3 about competitive matchmaking, playlists, and gametypes? Do versus games in Judgment retain the separate "Ranked" and "Quickmatch" structure of Gears 3?
Will we see Baird without his goggles?
Carmines, are they going to be in GoWJ?
Why are we seeing the second generation Lancer so soon, chronologically speaking? Has enough time already transpired to realize that the Retro Lancers' bayonets don't work?
Will Overrun have a five men or more squad? Will it be just a four man squad? Have you ever considered creating a 10 man or even more squad to be useable in MP modes like Horde?
can there be 4 player co-op split screen?
Are bots going to return to traditional multiplayer? Most players would like to see them disappear along with quick match(aka bot match)
Gears of War 3 isnt even one year old. What made you all decide to jump to Judgment soo quickly?
Why another gears of war?
How deep is the story? How are you balancing multiplayer this time around? I hope all the answers in Gears 3 are answered as well like why is Queen Myrahh human?
Can we get a "TEAM" execution to perform on the "last man standing" in the multiplayer modes in Judgment?
1. will we see UIR soldiers in the campaign. Since the pendulum wars didn't happen long ago 2.Will we see a younger Marcus fenix before being locked for desertion and 3.Will there be a Beta
Why? Just why?
Baird was a good choice, because he received a lot of guff from Fenix and superiors, despite the fact his role was instrumental in COG's progression. Providing fans, like me, with his backstory is going to expand our knowledge of the Gears universe.
i think it would be sick if the campaing took time over a longer period of time, rather than the classic day by day way the previous games have taken. starting with a period more towards the end of the pendulam wars, then emergence day and events following it leading up to the beggining of gears of war 1. I feel that this would allow you better tell the story and answer some of the questions that we have, such as how mirra became queen of the locust when she seems to be human at the end of gears 3. oh and it would be cool if as a token of completing the campaign we unlock a short camapain where you get to play as the locust.
GEARS IS GOD
Why do you want to continue *** up a once good game?
