Game Critic Awards: Best of E3 2012 Nominees Announced
We are proud to present the nominees for the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2012. Game Informer, along with a ton of other highly respected game outlets, take part in the voting process (see the image below for the list). Winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 26.
Highlights
Dishonored, Halo 4 and The Last Of Us are the most nominated games, each receiving 4 nominations including Best of Show. - The top nominated publishers are Sony Computer Entertainment (12 nominations), Microsoft Studios (8 nominations) and Electronic Arts (8 nominations). Publishers with the biggest gain in nominations are Sega (+3 nominations over 2011) and Square-Enix (+3 nominations over 2011). - For the first time this console generation, PS3 is the most nominated platform, taking over from Xbox 360. This year 52 nominations are awarded to games playable on PS3 versus 48 for games playable on Xbox 360. The PC has 41 nominations. Wii U has 5 nominations. - The full list of nominees is as follows:
