The lights are on
Update: Capcom confirmed the game is coming to North America and Europe this fall for $19.99. It's available through PlayStation Network. This HD version includes PlayStation Move and trophy support.
Per Capcom:
Ōkami HD brings Amaterasu’s epic tale to the PS3 with fully integrated HD graphics and 16:9 aspect ratio. The trademark sumi-e ink art style lends itself perfectly to HD allowing players to experience more of the awe-inspiring world displayed in greater detail than ever before.
--------------------
Original story: Capcom is releasing a HD remaster of Okami for PlayStation later this year in Japan. Details were confirmed in the latest issue of Famitsu.
The game is called Okami Zekkie-ban, which roughly translates to Okami Magnificent Version. This version will have Move support, but It's unclear if this is based off the Wii release of Okami or the original PS2 game.
Capcom USA has not confirmed if Okami HD is coming to North America at this time.

I'm not sure what I think about this game, but the art style certainly transfers well into HD while hardly looking aged.
awesome... now i don't feel bad for selling my wii version for much needed money.
I am definately getting this!
Dude i love this game, it's like playing in a work of art =)
time to buy a ps3 I guess
Finally!! a perfect reason to buy a Move controller
good, i've always wanted to play through this but could never find it on PS2. pretty excited.
the change is amazing to see what we can do now with todays technology. I cant wait to play it, it looks amazing ( but yet just as amazing as the orignial!)
Man, i love this game. I wish they would remake it for Xbox as well.
I've never played the original but this looks really good.
This needs to hit the U.S. AND on 360. NAO!!!!!11!1one!1
Played it. Loved it. Gotta have this.
I cant wait to download this. We just need a solid release date now.
Well, I've never played anything Okami. I've heard good things so maybe if it's discounted on PS+ I'll consider it.
I'm really glad this is coming to the states. I have a question though. I have the original for PS2 and after watching the video with the side-by-side comparison I loaded up the game just to see how it looked, I haven't played the game for quite a while, and I'm pretty sure Capcom is using a blur filter in the video to make the HD remake look better. The visuals in my PS2 copy aren't nearly as blurry as they make it seem in the trailer. Is this just me, or have any of you noticed that at all? Regardless, the remake does look great and I'll happily pick it up just for the addition of Move and trophy support.
