The lights are on
Watch as The Amazing Spider-Man executive producer Brent Nicholas walks you through navigating Manhattan with mostly uninterrupted gameplay.
We've seen all of the elements of this developer walkthrough shown off, but this is the first time we've really seen its practical applications in the middle of the game. Typically, we've just been seeing little sections pulled out of the game and edited together into trailer form.
The Amazing Spider-Man is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and plain old Nintendo DS on June 26.

yeah, this is basically spiderman2.5 though i liked spider man 2, so this should be good anyways.
I'll wait for the bargin bin and then I'll look at it and still pass.
Sooo... it's spiderman 3 HD??
I like some of what I saw, but it was a let down to see Spider-Man stop the car with a quick time event. I also wish the car chase would just be happening, instead of needing a button prompt to start it.
Other than that, it looks better than the last one, and I'm betting it will get a 7.5 - 8.0.
Very cool. I really don't give a f**k about "Cloud swinging," it still looks fun!
They should release this game one day before the actual movie comes out. Like... Release it on July 2nd.
I'm officially hooked...
Redbox for sure!
It might just be a buy for me looks like the fun i use too have in SM2 i will wait for a review but this did look pretty cool
Really wish I could watch this video. 2 PC's and 3 phones. Not a single one can play it. Can't believe I'm being absurd. Must be a combination of problems. Including an unstable flash player. Wish 1 person was enough to convince you guys to fix that. Can't barely type into this thing either. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
...I might ACTUALLY pre-order this now
the 3DS version's demo is out on the nintendo shop. it has everything but free roam and it feels kinda like edge of time, level structure-wise. the gameplay has everything the console version has and is AMAZING. I pre-ordered it when I played the demo. the combat, graphics, even 3D is perfect. Check it out if you have 3DS guys and gals!! I think the Wii version is the same but I might be wrong.
Well it looks like they've taken a lot of pointers from Rocksteady. But there are a few things I'm unsure about.
I really don't like how swinging around the city works. When swinging from a tall building to a short one, you stay at the same height and your web acts as though there is another skyscraper right next to you. I also feel like one of the reasons they decided to zoom in on spidey is so the player would be less likely to notice that. But it's still very noticeable. And it basically means there is no strategy to swinging around, and therefore, no fun to it. He might as well have a jet pack.
I want pre-order gameplay so I know which one is the best! I would like to rampage, throwing and smashing cars, people, buildings as rhino. I don't know if you can do that stuff though, so maybe stan lee would be better? BLARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
