See Spider-Man Run Free In Manhattan

Watch as The Amazing Spider-Man executive producer Brent Nicholas walks you through navigating Manhattan with mostly uninterrupted gameplay.

We've seen all of the elements of this developer walkthrough shown off, but this is the first time we've really seen its practical applications in the middle of the game. Typically, we've just been seeing little sections pulled out of the game and edited together into trailer form.

The Amazing Spider-Man is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and plain old Nintendo DS on June 26.

  • Hope this is good like the batman arkham series....
  • This looks like Spiderman 3. Aside from web-rush.
  • LOL not another spidey game- this game will most likely hit the mediocre mark just like the rest of em; and I yawned watching the trailer lol
  • Anyone else not like the quick-time event car chase?
  • This reminds me so much of Spider-Man 2.
  • Is it just me, or does the combat look EXACTLY like arkham asylum?
  • I'll be picking this up day one. I loved Shattered Dimensions, but the sandbox Spider-Man games are just so much fun. I thought Web of Shadows was really underrated, personally. All I can say is this game looks awesome.
  • im really looking foward to this
  • beat batman goty today.......NEED MORE SUPERHERO GAMES!
  • why no vita?
  • I wonder how much time I'll spend swinging around in this game.
  • Maybe we will get another good open world Spider-Man game.
  • Spiderman back to the good ol days, mix in some GTA IV and Arkham City, and we may have us the best spidey yet. Looks VERY promising

  • This looks decent. Seems to have combat similar to the Arkham games, with a nice open world to play around in. This could turn out pretty well.

side note: I'm really not liking Spidey's voice so far. Maybe I was spoiled by Spectacular

  • If he is just going to suspend the car above the street, whats the point of webbing the windshield.

Fix your bad quicktime events plox.
  • Look a lot like prototype, a good thing if you ask me
  • The Web-Rush mechanic is a nice addition to the series, making you shoot a web in multiple places. Even swinging close to the road is something i haven't seen since the movies
  • I must say this looks extremely like Spiderman 3, only this "web rush" feature is new. Also, if I remember correctly, SM3 had accurate web swing grapple points, you could only web swing if there was something above/next to spiderman that he could shoot. That bit of realism seems to be missing here. At least it isn't as bad as the old comic based "Spider-man" for N64.
  • I must say that looked very cool, i'll keep my eye on this one.

  • I was literally just playing the third one again yesterday and wondering about how this game was coming along. Weird.

Edit: If I didn't know better I might have mistaken this as a HD remake of 3. The web slinging, petty crimes, and even combat are incredibly similar.
