The lights are on
The document uncovered a few months ago dates back to 2010, and shows Blu-ray compatibility, augmented reality glasses, a new Kinect, and a 2013 release window. It also shows a $299.99 price point.
The document also references Microsoft's Smart Glass, which was detailed this year at E3. Seeing Smart Glass in the PDF certainly lends some credibility to the document, but that doesn't mean it isn't a fake. Microsoft also could have abandoned the plans detailed here in the two years since it was created.

I don't like what I see in that.
The Xbox needs to make a kinect game that doesn't suck before I'll buy augmented reality glasses, and does anyone not have a blu-ray player that really wants one by now? I hope this is all bunko.
It's funny. I've had my hands on this document for 5 months now. Microsoft threatened to sue me if I didn't take the post off of Reddit.
Well, that is cool, but I also call fake on the price. No way that it will be 299 unless they add the hardware subscription, which is a stupid system entirely. The Fortalzea looks cool, and somewhat plausible. I also noticed that there is no mention of a physical controller, which is unsettleing. I don't want to have to use a tablet sold separately or the Kenict. Otherwise, it looks fairly cool, but still, the price mentioned gives me doubts.
Xbox 720? Isn't it codenamed "Durango"? I like Durango better.
I don't see the Blu-ray part..But I did not download the 52 page document..So that's probably why. Either way, I will be sticking with my PS3 and PC.
Hmm idk about it, i wont download it but it still is kinda getting my attention...
I'm just gonna wait till Microsoft and Sony announce their "next-gen" consoles. I'm going to enjoy all the great games that are coming out now and the WiiU this holiday. Screw all these rumors about the "next-gen." I'm gonna stay out of all the hype for the "next-gen" and let it happen when they choose to announce it.
wow kinect........really microsoft ur gonna focus on kinect for 720 its like a slap to microsoft gamers in the face
Lots of gimmicks, but not too much about gaming.
At least it's still $300... until they figure out some other charge to tack on.
I remember when the Xbox 360 and PS3 were still in the rumor stage and were being called next gen, but I didn't spend time reading into the rumors then either so I'll pass on downloading and reading a 56 page document which could be a fake or could be irrelevant at this point in time.
Haha, Blu-Ray is all I really care about for the new Xbox...
I don't much care for any of this next-gen console stuff, I won't be dropping the money when they release anyhow. Plus PS3 still has tons of new IPs being developed so I should stay satisfied for years to come.
$300 would be pretty merciful. In a real world, the 720 would probably cost $720. . .
