Anyone else getting a "John Carpenters The Thing" vibe from this?

Not gonna watch it for the fact that if this is anything like Dead Space 2's "first gameplay", it will likely the demo that is released to the public. I'm beyond excited for it though!

Never played Dead Space b efore but this looked really cool. Guy talking in video was a homo though.

Dead Space 3, 5 stars for the game

Game play looks great...but come on, someone needs to write him a better script! I wanted to start laughing when he talked about how awesome the pulping was!

This guy is really focused on the "cool" and "awesome" aspects of the game.

Great action game bro, but where's the survival horror? I would have loved to see a co-op survival horror moment; maybe it would've been more interesting to me if Isaac had woken up and didn't have a SMG+Shotgun from the very start. Granted this is less than 20 minutes of gameplay footage shown, but it doesn't inspire the same Dead Space dread vibe the others had. I hope there is more to this game than what was shown in this "super awesome" glimpse of Dead Space 3.

I'm all for action, and I LOVED the second Dead Space, but there's a reason Dead Space 1 was a masterpiece and an instant classic, and I can tell you right now it wasn't because of all the PULP. I'm still going to get this game because I love the franchise, and I can't judge what this game is going to be like based on 20 min of footage, but I think everyone can agree that the first game was better than the second, all thanks to the atmosphere and scares alone.

cover system? why is it when everytime a good game comes out they try to get out a sequel as soon as possible to squeeze more money out of it. Dead space was amazing ds2 wasnt as good, assassins creed 2 was amazing and now with each new release its progressively getting worse. if a developer is lucky enough to have made an awesome game they should make sure they take the time to keep the series amazing

Everyone should buy Dead Space: Severed the DLC for DS2. That was an awesome creepy story as well. :)
