EA has released a 20-minute video highlighting many of the new gameplay features, enemies, and boss encounters found in Dead Space 3. Steve Papoutsis, vice president and general manager of developer Visceral Games, sets the stage for what you're about the see. Some of the segments were previously shown at EA's E3 2012 press conference.

EA announced Dead Space 3 is out this coming February. Check out the video below!

Saw this earlier and with that and the fact that co-op is optional, I'm back to being excited. The new enemies looks great, the setting is great, and I love the idea of Isaac putting his engineering skills to use and combining weapons together. Day 1.

So uhh is Isaac still a psycho or what? And where is the horror? It looks to me like the only real threat is the environment because Isaac is kicking ass. Yeah I know it "looks cool" but why do I have to play as a professional Necromorph killer? Its nothing but jump scares now, DS 1 and 2 actually had creepy environments but so far all I've seen is pure action.

I'll just stick DS 2 and skip out on this one. Looks like generic over produced action BS.

and can someone tell me why the hell that guy is talking to us like we're a bunch of 5 year olds?

Legs with tentacles?Really? Is that suppose to scare me -.-

Anyway Dead space is the only game that scares me, though this one are nothing but mutant bugs along with a few necros. Hopefully it will have scary necromorphs coming from all directions like the previews games. I also liked the attention given by the developer about the single player mode and the coop mode for people who think every game must have a multiplayer feature.

Day 1 purchase for me. DS2 was my personal 2011 Game of the Year. It was between that and Arkham, but survival horror won out. DS2 will be hard to top as it was one hell of a ride!
