The lights are on
Citizen's Bank is suing 38 Studios founder Curt Schilling after he allegedly promised to repay money borrowed from the bank.
According to a report from WRPI.com, the lawsuit was filed last Thursday in a Boston court, the same day 38 Studios declared bankruptcy. Citizens claims Schilling "personally guaranteed a $2 million letter of credit and a $350,000 corporate credit card the bank gave 38 Studios," which both 38 Studios and Schilling refused to pay off.
"Schilling has failed and refused, and continues to fail and refuse, to satisfy the outstanding indebtedness," the complaint reads. WPRI.com has a nice roundup of all the details from lawsuit. Check out their story for more.
