EA Promises More Wii U Support

by Matthew Kato on Jun 13, 2012 at 05:24 AM

Electronic Arts announced Mass Effect 3 for the Wii U at E3 this year, but that's not all the publisher/developer has in store for the system.

Talking to CVG, Frank Gibeau, president of EA Labels, says that the company has a number of unannounced games for the Wii U. "We've got a couple of more games in development for Wii U," he said, "and we'll have a bigger lineup for Wii U than we did on the Wii. It is the first next-generation platform coming out so we're really supporting it.

"Just looking at E3 and where we're at, we wanted to hold our fire a little bit on a couple of the other games that we're working on. We'll have more announcements this summer on the rest of the Wii U lineup."

Electronic Arts wasn't aggressive in supporting the Wii, but perhaps this will be different for the Wii U.
