We Might Not Be Getting A Revised 3DS After All
Hoping for a smaller, sleeker 3DS in the near future? Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto believes the current model might be good enough for awhile.
"I really feel like I'm satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is. I feel like it's the best for this generation," Miyamoto said in an interview with IGN. When asked about potentially adding a second Circle Pad to the 3DS in the future, he noted the system's gyroscope makes up for that need.
In the same interview, he was later asked to comment on rumors from Japan that suggested a 3DS XL release was imminent. He said Nintendo is thinking about its next handheld. "What we're thinking about right now is probably going to be for a future generation of handheld," he said.
