The lights are on
Most of us are feeling burned out by E3, so we're taking advantage of the post-event lull to do other things like read, see our friends and family...and play video games, of course.
Jeff Cork: Spending all week thinking, writing, and talking about video games has taken its toll. I’m going to read a book or something.Ali Rapp: I'll be in my (very rural) hometown this weekend and I hear the weather's supposed to be beautiful, so I'll probably do a lot of lounging around outside. I'm hoping to watch my mom wrap up Skyward Sword, too. Oh, and I should probably finish the Ico: Castle in the Mist book I borrowed from the library. They're starting to get huffy with me. Who do they think they are?Ben Hanson: This weekend I won't have much time for gaming as I'll be in LA until Saturday afternoon for this whole E3 thing. On the flight back I will most likely continue playing (brace for it) Pokemon SoulSilver. Once I get back home I have an odd urge to play Rayman Origins again and possibly (after playing Rock Band Blitz) even a dabble of Frequency. Jack Gardner: On Saturday I'll be celebrating my nephews' birthdays at my brother's house. Come Sunday, I will be eating some delicious, delectable appetizers at Old Chicago to celebrate a friend's acquisition of her degree. Gaming-wise, I'll be finishing up Uncharted 2 (late to the party, I know) and starting El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. Jeff Marchiafava: After spending E3 week running around and looking at games like a chicken with his head cut off...(who also likes games?), I don't plan on playing anything this weekend. Then again, I might check in on my Tiny Tower, as my hard-working renters have never let me down.
Joe Juba: I probably won't have a ton of free time this weekend, but the time I have will hopefully be spent finishing Asura's Wrath. I also plugged in my old Super Nintendo a while ago, so I'm thinking about reloading some old end-game saves in Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III (VI) just for the fun of it.
Kyle Hilliard: I feel asleep!!
Email the author Ali Rapp, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
I will hopefully be finishing my English research paper's final draft over the weekend and studying for my Philosophy final. In between, I'll probably be cherishing the awesome Lego Avenger sets I got this Friday. Alas, I have no good games to play, but I will continue to dwell on the fantastic and terrible E3 conferences of earlier in the week.
My weekend is going to be insanely boring so I'm sure some gameage will be in order. Might continue my second runthrough of Mass Effect 2, The Witcher 2, and Arkham City. If I can also squeeze it in I've been considering going back through Xenogears since it's been years since I've played it all the way through...oh and some Resident Evil 2. I'm trying to build myself up for my Resident Evil marathon that I badly would like to have some day.
I'm studying for finals this weekend and writing a research paper, but I'm hoping to finish my playthrough of the first Disgaea this weekend too.
ME3 MP all weekend baby. Especially with the weekend challenge.
Saturday will be spent at work...again. Afterwards I'll probably be trudging forward in Shadow of the Colossus or continuing my second playthrough of Mass Effect 2. Also...HeartGold. I'm having some serious trouble with the seventh gym right now, so my party has earned itself some grinding...and don't forget Minecraft.
Oh, I have Tiny Tower!
I might be driving this weekend because I'm on my permit, on gaming wise I'm going to be playing Battlefield 3 and Driver: San Francisco.
Guild Wars 2 Beta, why aren't you playing?
Finished Rage (ending was way short but it was fun getting there). Either moving on to Sly 2 on the Sly Collection, Crysis 2 or Dragon Age Origins (would have beaten it if my ps3 didn't fry 2 years ago)
Its the playstation plus free games for me
I'll be visiting Mars in Red Faction: Guerilla, and then heading back to Earth to help the saints reclaim Stilwater in Saints Row 2.
I bought the Battlefield 3 Premium service today, so I will be pouring time into Close Quarters. Conquest domination is a blast and there are a lot of new assignments. I recently picked Uncharted 3 back up so I'll probably make some progress with that as well.
I'll be running a lot, as well as doing chores and searching for a missing DS game. Outside of that, I'll play some Pokemon Diamond.
Final fantasy working on 7 today hopefully start up 8 by wensday
Well I'm in Hilton Head: South Carolina right now taking a vacation, and to make sure I'm not bored, I bought my on the go devices to do some gaming, including my PSP.
Speaking of PSP, I'll be busy playing ATV Offroad Fury Blazin' Trails, trying to continue my progress.
Work, work, work, and more work. Plus a little bit of work on the side. I'm stuck with two co-workers who won't do their job, so I'm going to have to it just to be able to keep my job (my boss is weird like that). When I have some free time I will be playing my way through Max Payne 3's story mode. I picked it up yesterday from a Redbox and it's pretty intriguing. Other than that... work.
