The lights are on
A couple of days ago, we posted the debut trailer for Disney's Wreck-It Ralph, a new CG animated movie concerning a video game bad guy that escapes his game for the straight life. It's notable for -- so far -- appearing to be a video-game themed movie that handles game references with a bit of flair and depth of knowledge about the art form.
In the movie, the game that Wreck-It Ralph escapes from is Fix-It Felix, clearly inspired by Nintendo's classic Donkey Kong. Disney has actually made a browser-based version of the game that you can play online for free at the official Wreck-It Ralph site. I played it and it's simplistic, but fun and addictive.

Heads up Matt, it's "Fix-It Felix" not "Fix-It Fred"
Fix-It Felix Jr. to be exact Matt :)
I was playing it yesterday, and next thing I knew an hour went by. Very addictive.
Ha, such an addicting game. Quite fun too. I managed to get to level 15 with 73,000 points. Not sure if I did well or not.
I'M GONNA WRECK IT!
It is great that they made a game based off of the film!
I can't wait!! I want see the movie!!!
That's actually a pretty fun little game! I could totally see that being a hit if it had been a real arcade game back in the day.
