Scribblenauts Unlimited Coming To Wii U, 3DS, And PC

by Matthew Kato on Jun 05, 2012 at 06:41 AM

Warner Bros. was the first third-party publisher to take the stage at Nintendo's press conference, and the company talked about Scribblenauts Unlimited.

The all-new title in the franchise expands the series' world into the wider universe of a home console, and the game stretches its horizons with more side-scrolling puzzle goodness.

Of course, Scribblenauts Unlimited retains the franchise's player creation element, and now you can design these creations on the GamePad with options like being able to combine different objects into one and a host of creation-options whether it's being able to change the color of the object or add all kinds of personal touches. You can also share your creations with others and have them add to it themselves.

Unlimited also includes a multiplayer mode and promises to tell gamers more about Maxwell's story.

Scribblenauts Unlimited also made an appearance in Nintendo's 3DS third-party trailer, though no details were announced about any possible differences between the console and handheld versions. The game is also coming to PC.

No release date was given for Scribblenauts Unlimited.
