The lights are on
Warner Bros. Interactive just announced a new edition of Batman: Arkham City at the Nintendo press conference.
Batman will return like he always does with a new armored suit and Wii U game pad features. A new B.A.T. mode allows the dark knight to build a meter with successful attacks and unleash more powerful moves once it's full. Players can also use the accelerometer to steer a remote batarang or blow up explosives one at a time or all at once with the touch pad.
Interestingly, Armored Edition is not being developed by Rocksteady Studios, instead it's handled by WB studios in Montreal and Burbank.

Sounds good, Batman's good, I like it.
So wait, is this going to be Arkham City revamped for the Wii U, or some smaller downloadable title?
If it's a revamped title, I SERIOUSLY might get a Wii U.
I want some new games... Not games from a year ago with new motion controlls and a controller thats also a scanner
interesting but i don't know if this is enough to get the Wii U
Having second thoughts about it. I mean, Rocksteady is not developing it.
Nintendo squandered far too much time talking about this at E3. They should've focused on upcoming games, not games that have been out since last year.
so does it include all the content, like the game of the year edition? if not, i'll get it for the xbox 360.
As a hardcore Batman fan, I will be getting this on day one. I already own it for 360, but I'm excited to see the new features. I've switched all of my purchases over to Wii U. AC3 and DS2 are 2 games that I will now get for Wii U. I can't wait for a price and date.
It's too bad that we only get two silly armored costumes for another full-priced game. C'mon, some new DLC would have been nice!
