THQ Confirms San Diego Studio Layoffs
After losing the UFC license to EA, THQ announced that it would be laying off a number of developers at its San Diego studio.
THQ San Diego recently developed WWE All Stars. A THQ representative said, "THQ confirms that today's announcement regarding the UFC license transition will affect the company's San Diego studio. THQ is working closely with those relevant staff to either find possible employment within the company, or potentially with EA."
