The lights are on
At the Microsoft press conference, the company gave a close look at the new direction for the next installment of the Forza franchise.
Forza Horizon takes the sim-based racer off the track and onto country and city roads. The game is based around racing festivals, where contestants will compete in what appear to be cross-country races. You'll see divergent paths, nighttime racing, plenty of damage (including roll-overs), and there will also be lots of festival atmosphere like live music, helicopters, crowds, and even auto show-like setups.
What do you think of this new kind of Forza racing?

Yes! Still need to play 2 and 4 and the rest of 3 before this, though. Can't wait!
Ohhh, this looks awesome. They must have been fans of NFS The Run, or at least liked what they were doing in that game.
Looks pretty good. Forza usually does good, but let hope it doesn't disappoint.
can't wait to see it!
Looks like a good game but think its gonna be to close to the Need for Speed series because that will be a big dissapointment,
the new 2013 viper gts looked great in the trailer..
i liked racing on circuits, this does look like need for speed
If they keep with the same sim-type formula, I think this would be a good change from the close circuit racing. Then you could really see what the car of your choice can do in "real" city driving situations and how far it could be pushed without you killing yourself (in real life) LOL
i agree with Killer542. in a way this does look alot like the new NFS Most Wanted game that's coming out.
Looks too much like need for speed! I have always bought and enjoyed Forza due to its real racing and nothing but. This will be the first Forza I won't buy!
so this doesnt look or have a visual feel to nfs pro street????....a lil wee bit,,except night but..u get my drift
