The lights are on
Tales series producer Hideo Baba announced today that the next entry in the Tales franchise would be a sequel to the Japan-only Tales of Xillia for PlayStation 3.
No word on whether or not this one will make it over to North America, but chances seem slim considering the first never made it to North America, and the sequel apparently picks up right where the first game left off.
For some more information on the game in Japanese, check out the trailer below.

man I love the tales series. If only they would all release hear in the good ol USA
seriously Bamco, us Americans like the tales games too. so, how about you let us GIVE YOU MONEY FOR THEM?
I'm holding out hope the first Xillia is still coming out this year. I love the Tales series.
It hasn't even been a year since the first one came out. Seeing as it took them two years to get Graces f over here, I'm pretty sure we've still got a chance at getting both of them.
Sorry, but it's hard to get exited for a sequel when we haven't even heard if the first game will come to the west. They brought Tales of Graces over, so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll see Xillia too. It just might be a while.
We don't get the first Xilia and they're already making a second? *** that
Damn... that's too bad.
Ok, This is actually GREAT news! There is just one problem... Can the US GET THE FIRST DAMN ONE????!!!! PLEASE???
The only Tales game I've played is Tales of Vesperia and it's awesome!
Hate some of these great games never see ,ight in us
Oooh! I just hope they localize the first one soon.
