Dark Souls Artorias of the Abyss DLC Coming To Consoles

PC gamers were blessed with the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die PC version, which included the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and now console gamers can get in on the action.

Publisher Namco Bandai has announced that the DLC expansion content will come to PSN and Xbox Live this winter for $14.99 and 1,200 MP, respectively.

Artorias of the Abyss includes new bosses, armor, weapons, areas, and more.

Just a few more months, really hyped for it. Hopefully the online will work a lot better on the pc. Would really love to play with my friends.

Okay, I have until Winter to finish the game. I got to Blighttown and its terrible framerate and lost motivation. Curse those guys with the poison darts too!

more of a reason to just buy the console version since the pc version isn't upgraded whatsoever, its just a port. the console version is $25'like new' on half.com, so after buying the expansion a total of $40 (keep in mind the price will drop significantly by the time this DLC is released), when at gamestop its $35 used (for now), add the $15 for the DLC and its $50. when the pc version releases it will be $50-$60, so even if you buy the game now for consoles (half of a year earlier) you'll most likely be saving money. dumbest pc port yet!

I hope the lobbies are with the dlc as well. I am trying to get a friend to play co-op but its annoying to have to use the current system.

Great, I remember when From Software said they didn't believe in DLC because they believed in releasing a complete and self contained game experience on one disc, a very traditional standpoint (This is when people were asking for Demon's Souls DLC) I wonder how much of this DLC is developed by FROM SOFTWARE and how much of it is by Namco/Bandai

I adore Dark Souls, and sunk a bucket-load of time in to it. Got up to the bosses Ornstein & Smough and then...well, Skyrim etc. But I have to get back to it soon! Those bosses sure were tough though...

AHH I just got the last achievment a few days ago took 90 hours, my game completion status is gonna get revoked -_-. While its a good game I dont think ill be spending 15 bucks on dlc right now for it.

Awesome. I played Dark Souls on xbox and got some friends to play it with me. I would love some DLC for the game, I just hope it's worth the $15. I might even get the PC version just so I can some better pvp and eventually some sweet mods.
