Are you ready to rumble? THQ announced WWE ’13 and says it's the most authentic and extensive experience to date.

New features include a WWE Live audio system and visual tweaks. The single-player campaign will be based on the “Attitude Era” of wrestling sparked by Stone Cold Steve Austin’s antihero behavior.

THQ hopes that WWE ‘13 will inspire a new wave of support for both wrestling and gaming. WWE ’13 is slated to be released October 30, 2012 on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.

    Authentic and Extensive? This seems like a really fresh take for the sports genre in general.

    It's also supposed to have a roster of about 77 characters and I think 33 of them are "attitude era" classics. I've always loved the games, even with the sporadic quality of WWE over the last few years.

    how can you call a fake sport "Authentic"? unless they have laughably bad monologues and super fake punches and kicks....then the game would be accurate.

    I saw them announce it myself on raw...John Lauanitis was trying to have himself on the cover with people power, looked totally lame til it showed the actual cover with cm punk on it

    I'll have to look into it more to clearly see what the upgrades are. And for those who dislike it or are calling it fake, you do have the option to not click on the article and find others that represent your gaming interests.

    I find it funny that when they announce the new wrestling game each year people always click on the article to comment about how stupid they think professional wrestling. Not only is it mean, its just unnecessary. I also think its funny that you have to take time out of your day to belittle something that others enjoy.
