The lights are on
CD Projekt Red held its summer conference today and revealed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings sold 1.7 million on both Xbox 360 and PC. That number is likely to increase as Japan is receiving an Xbox version of the game published by Spike Chunsoft on August 23. The Mac version of the game will be available sometime in the fall.
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings recently received an enhanced edition bringing the title to Xbox 360 and received a 9.5 from this very magazine. If those sales and our review are anything to go by, this title might just be worth checking out.

It should have, gret game.
and this game was stolen at a ridiculous rate too.
Just got this game, it's a lot of fun (and deep/challenging). Highly recommend!
Fantastic game. I hope the best for the development team. I'll always purchase their products.
That's what, a quarter of the number that were pirated?
Huh, and the state of Rhode Island thinks a game needs to sell 3 million to be a success...
This is a great game! It deserves more 1.7 million sales. Here's hoping for Witcher 3.
Just got it for my PC a few weeks ago. My brother was breathing down my neck about it. Definitely a great game. Love how instead of really giving players the option to do stuff for free Geralt always insists on "Nah, I'm getting paid for my time."
It is a great game too bad it didnt sell more
