The lights are on
Spy Hunter is a classic arcade game, but the name has more value as nostalgia than an actual video game these days…especially after the last game. However, the franchise is about to turn 30, and Warner Bros. is celebrating with a reboot.
Scheduled to release this fall for Vita and 3DS, the new Spy Hunter (developed by TT Fusion) still focuses on the super-vehicle called the Interceptor. Transforming from car to boat to off-road vehicle, the Interceptor is outfitted with upgradeable weapons, and Warner Bros. claims the game will feature a slow-motion camera that lets players "savor the destruction."

Oooo, i remember these. I will totally check it out for vita, it seems like a nice fit.
meh....moving on.
yay. liked the first few. don't remember it much, but i do remember having fun with it.
We'll see how good it is.
The Spy Hunter series were the first games I got on my PS2 and they were pretty phenomenal.
Man.... I was hoping this would be for actual consoles
While this is exciting - if it plays anything like Spy Hunter on PS2, this will be fun -, the best part of this news is that Warner Bros. is paying attention to the OTHER games they inherited from Midway. I mean, they pretty much looked like they were only going to care about Mortal Kombat and that would be it. So to anyone who was a fan of Gauntlet, Spy Hunter, Defender, etc., it was kind of worrisome. But nope - they're on top of these franchises too. That makes me happy:)
Warner Bros. is a publisher that just keeps impressing me.
Awesomesauce...totally dating myself but Spy Hunter was one of my favorite games to play at the Arcade :/....pumped many a quarter into those machines. Look forward to playing the reboot on my Vita :)
i remember this nice
i thought about this long and hard......who cares man, spy hunter was never that good
haha
wow, no console release? release the old school spy hunter with trophies..
Can I just say, very unimpressive graphics - even for a handheld game! Now, maybe it's because I saw the Unreal Engine 4 demo, but the graphics were very, very outdated!
Yay!
