Ratchet And Clank: Full Frontal Assault Announced

by Ali Rapp on May 30, 2012 at 08:10 AM

In honor of Ratchet and Clank's 10th anniversary and to coincide with the release of the Idol Minds-developed Ratchet and Clank Collection due out this summer, Insomniac Games is releasing a brand new title on the PSN this fall.

Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac Games, promises that the new title will return to the "classic feel" of the series, with innovative iterations on the early games' familiar third-person camera controls, gameplay, and weapons. He also hints at online play which will allow players to experience the game together, though details aren't available yet.

The new title will be "fun-sized," but we're hoping for a full-sized Ratchet & Clank title in the near future. The announcement for Full Frontal Assault teases a "special surprise for North American fans," which could possibly mean a new retail game following this summer's release of the Ratchet And Clank 10th Anniversary HD Collection.
