The lights are on
The 2K Marin-developed XCOM shooter has been delayed another whole year. The game isn't scheduled to ship until April 2013 at the earliest.
Take-Two announced today XCOM was pushed back into the company's 2014 fiscal year, which begins on April 1, 2013 and ends March 31, 2014.
A company spokesperson was unable to provide more detail behind the game's constant delays.
The publisher announced this morning an October 9 release date for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the strategy game developed by Firaxis.
Well there goes another game...
Take-Two seems to have no problem with their developers delaying games. It generally tends to be a good move for them as their games are usually very polished, as far I as know.
Geez, I keep forgetting that this game is even in development. It looks pretty sweet, though.
ha....ask and you shall receive.
Im sure there are good reasons for this
Well crap...I have been waiting for this game ever since it was announced and they just keep pushing it further back. My hope in this game is dwindling slowly. At least release some more game play for it Marin.
Ohhhhh! Called it on the other Xcom thing!
EDIT: Wait...there different.
at least we get enemy unknown this year
I hope this doesn't become vaporware
Even though I'm infinitely more excited for Enemy Unknown, I'm genuinely intrigued by this one. Hope it sees a release someday.
