The lights are on
BioWare's Facebook game Dragon Age Legends will be shut down next month, Electronic Arts said today. The publisher noted the move will allow it to provide resources to new projects in the social games space.
"EA and BioWare Social will be retiring Dragon Age Legends on June 18, 2012.," a spokesperson told Game Informer. "Closing out older titles is a tough decision, but allows us to dedicate resources in the BioWare San Francisco and Sacramento studios on exciting new social RPG projects already in development.
"We will share more about these projects soon."
Dragon Age Legends first launched in February 2011. It's available to play on Facebook and Google+
Maybe they could concentrate on making Dragon Age 3, and actually make it like DA:O, Dragon Age 2 was a letdown...
EA closing a game down? Naww man, ya must be dreamin'!
Seriously, EA... I am seeing triple digits in how many projects/games/services/lives you have shut down. As long as you keep making good games to back up your annoying business methods, I won't stay angry with you.
Only played this game to get the extra items for Dragon Age 2.
They should just go ahead and end the Dragon Age franchise, since they have already killed it. Too bad, it could have been a great series.
yeah it really went low had to do it early
i play that game on facebook, i knew they going to retired it. to make new ones.
didnt this like, JUSt come out
good thing i didnt spend any real money for this game XP i'd imagine people who did and a lot of it would be reeeeeaaaaal pissed off right now >.<
Somehow I think this will anger some people... like the ones who spent money.
