The lights are on
Capcom's newest Devil May Cry title from developer Ninja Theory releases this coming January to North America and Europe, the publisher confirmed this afternoon.
The game hits Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 15, 2013. Development of a PC version is "well underway" and will come later in the year. According to Capcom, Devil May Cry will be fully localized with voice talent in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian and in addition, Polish, Dutch, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese languages will be supported with localized text.
Devil May Cry will be at Capcom's booth at E3 next month.
Never liked dmc. Thought beyonetta was a much better version of the formula, but still needed a little improvement. From the gameplay videos I've seen, this looks like a big step forward. Can't wait to see how it plays!

Sweet! I've been looking forward to this for awhile; since it was announced, actually. Heavenly Sword was alright, but Enslaved was amazing - these guys know their sh** (both gameplay-wise and storytelling-wise). And everything about this game looks awesome - Dante's redesign is even more punk rock than the old version (even though he looked too emaciated at first; but they fixed the model for subsequent showings). The combat, featuring that shapeshifting sword of his, looks slick as heck. The living, dynamic, transforming city trying to kill you? An amazing idea, and it looks cool in action to boot. Screw all the haters; DmC is going to be amazing!
Can't wait for January then. Gonna be the first must-have of 2013.
