The lights are on
The resume of a programming student lists his participation in focus groups for Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 3.
The resume entry spans 2009-11, and also mentions the upcoming Devil May Cry.
It's hard to know exactly what to make of the fact that EA held these focus groups, as they are used in a range of development situations from the early concept stage to hands-on with control schemes.
In the past, however, EA has not shied away from mentioning both Bad Company 3 and Mirror's Edge 2 specifically.

I'm always up for more Battlefield and I still have yet to play Mirror's Edge. One of many games on my backlog.
mirrors edge 2? i hope those arent lies cause that needs to happen
Mirror's Edge 2 has become one of those games I want so much but sadly don't think I'll ever get. While this news is exciting, a resume doesn't always mean the game is coming out. For all we know the project was canned but people did work on it so they could put it on their work experience. I hope I am wrong. I want this game! Gotta have Faith.
Oh, man, I hope they do a Mirror's Edge 2. While there were certainly some frustrations with that game, when it worked right it provided moments in gaming unlike any I've experienced before; and holy crap was it fun in those moments. When it clicked, it was AWESOME.
BF3 wasn't as good as either bad company hoping this rumor pans out
hope to see mirror's edge 2 announced at e3 this year. probably won't happen
I would like to play both these games. I really want to see a Mirror's Edge 2.
It would be really awsome to see a Mirror's Edge 2. The frist game was really awsome and a second one would be really great.
bring it on!
I'M THROWING MONEY AT THE SCREEN BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING!
Please, PLEASE let both of these be announced at E3!
Mirror's Edge and Bad Company. The two games that I consistently think of when thinking of this generation's best. Mirror's Edge was a great concept, and excuted nicely. Soundtrack was top notch.
Bad Company is/was one of the most welcome additions to console FPS's. It had a different style. It took skill, cooperation, and a bit of luck to be good at the game. I liked the feel of Bad Company games better than I did BF3... BF3 just felt loose and like Call of Duty.
Well I thought Mirror's Edge and Bad Company sucked, so if I ran a game studio I sure as hell wouldn't hire him.
Also, I would have kicked him in the balls for helping to ruin the Battlefield series. It peaked at 2142 and went to crap after that. You can't forgive someone that helps to ruin a franchise like that.
I would get behind a Mirror's Edge 2, if they iron out the wrinkles in the design, it could be a spectacular game. But if they turn it into an FPS so they can sell more copies, well they can keep that.
I really hope Mirror's Edge 2 is a reality, the original remains in my opinion one of the most original games of this generation. I actually played it a bit again early this month, and it really holds up well even today, and all the while I imagined how a sequel would feel with Frostbite 2. :)
I certainly haven't ruled out the possibility, neither DICE or EA have given us a straight 'no' and it has been a common event now for these 'leaks' to build up to a formal reveal of the game. Fingers crossed! :)
Although I've never played the Bad Company subseries, I have played Mirror's Edge and it would be soooooooooooooooo awesome if they gave it a sequel. That game was one of the only ultra-linear games I have ever enjoyed, and I still play through the time trials once in a while :D
Yes! Mirror's Edge 2! Now that's what I want to see from DICE.
Though i haven't beaten the first one and i don't like EA that much i can't wait for Mirror's Edge 2
