The lights are on
Update: EA said it does not comment on rumor or speculation.
-----------------------------------
The battle for first-person shooter supremacy may be extending beyond the battlefield. Electronic Arts will announce a premium content service for Battlefield 3 on June 4, writes Battlefieldo. The rumor comes from an "unofficial" but "reliable source," who apparently leaked the date and first details. According to the report, signing up for the service will land players content drops. The first planned drop adds a premium knife, and new soldier and weapon camo, as well as black dog tags to the game.
Battlefieldo has more info, as well as details for new DLC. Electronic Arts has not responded to this rumor as of yet. Odds are, we won't hear anything more until June 4, the first day of E3, which also happens to be the day of EA's press conference.

The Battlefield series has completly been depleted by those C%!~suckers at EA.
How about you lead the way, Dice?
You know like you used to do before jumping on the wannabe codwagon.
I'm really not surprised at all.
I would never stoop so low as to buy some crap like this.
this doesnt suprise me because i figured ea would do something like this anyway. but honestly why try to copy elite? you already screwed up promising an app for mobile phones, both of which took months to be released on the phones' respective app stores, except for battlelog on the android devices. call of duty elite is a complete joke. the only thing they have right is downloading content, and even then, you'll still run into problems downloading it. the guy who does the info on the weapons is wrong by one level on every single gun. clan ops cant distribute xp to everyone because something always goes wrong with the server. and syncing custom classes doesnt even work anymore. i was one of those who bought into the hype of battlefield 3 taking down call of duty, but because of the squad issues, lag, and other bugs at time of release, i sold it. you're already messing up by copying activision by allowing ps3 owners first access to dlc, dont dig your grave by making something premium that you promised free ea.
EA found some way to mess up another game im not surprized one bit there so behind it's not funny E3 is comming let's see if they have another game that looks good and takes best looking game all to flop when it comes out again you got to be one stupid person to buy another FPS from EA again
this would suck
Grumble....
I really need to get back into Battlefield
"the battle for first person shooter supremacy.."
finest joke i ever heard. when it comes down to it, it's truly apples and oranges and personal preference.
I'll pass. I still could never justify paying money for something like this.
OH F*CK NO
