Silent Hill: Book Of Memories Pushed To October

Konami confirmed to Game Informer this afternoon it is targeting an October release for Silent Hill: Book Of Memories for PlayStation Vita.

The game was originally supposed to ship this past March, but the game never came out. Konami said it does not have a specific release date yet and the delay was due to both "timing and development."

  • October ? Doesn't KONAMI have any idea its being a blockbuster stellar month :D
  • Good. It's important to stagger your releases, not release 3 Silent Hill titles in one month like they originally planned. To be frank, they should have delayed the Silent Hill HD collection as well. For one, to get the remaster perfected, instead of how they botched it, and second, so they could include Silent Hill 4. It's not a "collection" unless it includes all 3 of those.
  • Ouch, time and development.  Things come up but that's a pretty big delay.

  • Meh.
  • Mod
At least then Konami will be able to blame the big games for this game's poor sales instead of admitting no one wanted this in the first place.
  • Yeah, well nobody wanted this abomination to begin with.

  • "Timing and development", hmm.........

  • Probably for the better. Who ever decided to release all the new Silent Hill games in the same month in the first place is a bit daft.

  • this sucks for the vita. it needs some good games to be released soon. I guess i will have to hope resistance holds me off until than.

  • The Vita still has no awesome games
  • I like Wayforward, but their 3D games are pretty forgettable. I'm pretty sure this is not a Silent Hill game anyone wants...

  • So many delays and pushbacks lately, so I'm not at all surprised.

  • I've never played a Silent Hill game, I'm too scared.

  • Huh, its a MMO for the Vita...sounds good
