Valve's Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative, a set of custom level creation tools for the popular puzzle game, has already proven popular with the game's fan base.

Though it's only been available for a few days, players have already created 35,000 user-created maps. So far, there have been 1.3 million downloads of user-created content. You can browse through user-created Portal 2 puzzle at Steam Workshop.

To keep the momentum rolling, Valve is staging a Weekend Workshop sale, with Portal 2 marked down 66 percent, Skyrim marked down 33 percent, and Team Fortress 2 items on sale for 50 percent off normal prices.
