Amazing Spider-Man Pre-Order Goodies Detailed

Activision has unveiled the pre-order bonuses for its Amazing Spider-Man title coming this summer.

If you buy the game (which is an original story that takes place after the events in the upcoming film) at GameStop, you'll get the Rhino Challenge. This puts you in the boots of Rhino and lets you rampage around the city, racking up points along the way.

If you get it through Amazon, you can play as Spider-Man creator Stan Lee as you and Spidey trek through Manhattan looking for pages of Lee's latest script (must have been a strong wind that got hold of it).

Both pre-orders are only good for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

The Amazing Spider-Man comes out on June 26 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS, and DS

Is the web rush mechanic really going to make this game worthwhile? From the screens and footage it seems like the city is still an empty husk. I just can't see this being more than a rent or borrow....maybe even a steal. Yes, I'm a criminal.
