The lights are on
The PlayStation Vita is getting more RPG love later this year. XSEED announced it's publishing Ragnarok Odyssey in North America. It was released in Japan earlier this year already.
“Ragnarok Odyssey is an amazing game that players have recognized through its position as one of the best-selling PS Vita titles in Japan,” said Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of XSEED Games.
“To be able to offer this game, which has been the most requested title by our fans for some time now, is very rewarding and speaks to the level of quality we are committed to delivering to the players.”
Ragnarok Odyssey is developed by Game Arts, the same studio that produced the Lunar and Grandia series.
Banzai!!! Banzai!!! (Throws hands in the air)
Something to keep an eye on. I'm always up for more jrpgs.
well now I need a PSVita. and now that I work at Best Buy, I can get the overpriced memory card at 50% off so its no longer a problem xD
Interesting. I'll be keeping my eye on this.
Meh.
This makes me very happy. After watching numerous videos about this game, I remained optimistic on a Western release.. Now with the good news about Persona 4 the golden releasing in the Fall, and Gravity Rush a month away.. Im very pleased to be a Vita owner!
Now if we can get a KH and Monster Hunter game, we'll be in business!

(chuckle) Might as well release a game named "Ragnarok" before the end of the world this year!
Bout damn time vita started packing heat
Yes! I've been wanting this localized since I first heard about it.
More RPGs is always a good thing. Always.
Another game I get to add to my Vita games wishlist :P
Still don't have a Vita :(
The Vita is looking more and more appealing.
Good for Vita owners! I don't currently own one but this seems like one of those games that will encourage me to get one. Until then, I'm still playing Xenoblade!
Dang that looks good. Makes me wish I had a Vita.
Cool. Seen a ton of coverage for this on Siliconera. IT looks pretty sweet for a Monster Hunter/Phantasy Star Online-esque title. Real pretty too; despite the fact that it still looks like a "super PS2 game" instead of a proper Vita/current gen one, it's really colorful and cool-looking.
Another solid pickup from XSeed. They're seriously one of my favorite publishers:)
