The lights are on
Relic Entertainment is developing a Company of Heroes sequel set for release next year.
Details about the project are still scarce at the moment. Forum members on NeoGAF have extracted some information from the upcoming issue of PC Gamer. They include:
- 2013 release
- Main campaign is Eastern front, playing as Russians
- Lots of snow. Snow slows down troops and tanks, but can also form cover.
- Units can vault over cover such as low walls.
When contacted for additional information, a THQ representative told Game Informer they will be sharing more details soon.

Wouldn't this still count as a rumor?
Awesome! I just traded for the first CoH on Steam yesterday too!
Sorry, I've had enough Seattle snow for a couple of years.
YES! Can't wait for this game! Also can't wait for the mods to come out for this game eventually!
I wish I could join NeoGAF
Oh, a THQ game? Good, they need as much help as they can get!
I just quietly rate "excellent" this post.
I have been waiting an extended time for this sport. I won't be able to wait...
Ни шагу назад!
The only reason I built my current computer was so I could play CoH on ultra settings and this was back in 2008. Hopefully this new CoH won't require me to make the same decision and I can run a beautiful looking game on my system without resorting to building an all new machine.
Never heard of it
FINALLY!!!! i have been waiting for this for a very long time, and in the Russian front too! this will be very interesting going into battle in unknown areas unlike Stalingrad and Moscow. maybe i should pick up another copy of company of heros so i can relive those moments again lol
Okay cool.
What took u so long Relic :) i missed CoH...
Nice! Although I hate Russians lol. Their language is ugly, their accent is ugly, and generaly come off as tool bags (which I remind a few of my friends that are Russian constantly lol). One of the few things I didn't like about GTA IV, that f'ing accent. But oh well, I'll take as many great RTS games as possible :)
One of the best rts games out there...can't wait
Oh my god. now THIS is news! NICE!!!!
