The lights are on
We're all still waiting for Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines title, but don't forget about Sega's other project: A game based on the original Alien film being done by Total War developer The Creative Assembly.
Gamerzines has uncovered a Creative Assembly job posting for a multiplayer/gameplay programmer that tabs the project for both current and future consoles.
The posting reads in part: "We are seeking an experienced programmer with proven skills in the area of gameplay and multi-player games. The successful applicant will be working on a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe."
Nothing is known about the game itself yet, and it was originally announced as a title related to the first movie in the franchise. Perhaps the job description's wording of "Alien universe" shows that the scope is being broadened.

Next Generation: Like a boss.
Bring it on, Sega. The sooner you can push out some games with the new consoles, the better.
