Millions Stop Playing Draw Something

It seems that the level of entertainment players receive from Draw Something might be drawing pretty thin at this point.

Only a few months ago, Draw Something seemed like the hottest app on the market. Now, the Pictionary-like mobile app is loosing players by the millions. Zynga bought Draw Something creator OMGPOP for nearly $200 million in March, but according to BBC News, WebMediaBrands data suggests that almost five million daily users have abandoned the game over the past month.

I know I stopped playing, and went back to Infinity Blade II. What are you playing on your phone right now?

  • Nevr tried it...

  • I stopped awhile back. Lost interest in it. I still play Jet Pack Joyride... but only when I'm in a car (not driving).

  • I can say that I am one of these who just got bored of it, especially with many games going at once.

  • scramble and words with friends. wouldnt mind some suggestions on some good games besides the obvious(Jetpack Joyride etc.).

  • I'm still playing, but then again I don't play much else on my phone except Temple Run and Jetpack Joyride. But I'll agree with some of the previous commenters that words are getting repeated quite a bit now.

  • I'm on Sonic CD

  • Wow, that's a lot of players gone.  I stopped playing it because it simply got boring.

  • Wow... it was popular a little bit ago

  • It was fun for about a week, then I started getting the same draw options with the players I was playing.

  • Staff

    Yep. I stopped.

  • What a shame. I'm not playing anything on my fone. I'm just playing REAL GAMES ON REAL CONSOLES.
  • I'm still playing it. It was probably just a phase... =/

  • i am one of those 5 million. I also went back to infinity blade II

  • it got boring, and i got tired of drawing. got to a point where i just wanted to guess pictures, not draw them. oh to be lazy

  • GOF2 HD anyone?

  • I stopped playing it. It was fun for a while, but it just started to get old. I didn't feel like the .99 upgrade was worth it. I also go tired of my friends bugging me to take my turn.

  • It got boring really fast because there was really no end goal. The goal was to see how many consecutive guesses you could get. I think it would have been better if you had to stump your opponent and get rewarded for it.

  • colors 3d for the 3ds.

  • I still play Draw Something every day with my friend in another state. Dont mind whoever owns the game as long as the core of the game remains the same and they actually come out with some improvements to it besided just more words.

  • I just play Wordfeud not. every once in a while i go and see if any one is playing Draw Something, but not like i used to.
