Skullgirls Coming To PC

Skullgirls is coming to PC later this year, publisher Autumn Games confirmed this morning.

The port includes updates to the in-game movelists, additional tutorials, retuned single player AI, enhanced leaderboards, in-game name display for online matches, and additional multi-player regions. Additionally, these updates, along with platform-specific fixes, will be made available as free updates for the console versions of the game on Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.

“Since the day we announced Skullgirls, many gamers have been asking for news of a PC release,” said Jason Donnell, president and COO of Autumn Games.

“With the console versions recently launched, Reverge Labs is turning its focus to updating the game and bringing Skullgirls’ action to PC gamers.  We’re thrilled with the very positive reception the game has received, and the great support and feedback we’ve been getting from the community on a number of ways to make the game even better, and we’re excited to be working on answering those requests.”

Skullgirls for PC will be available for download through GameFly, GamersGate, GameStop PC Downloads, OriginTM, and Steam. Check out our review of the game right here.

  • Awesome news!

  • I found skullgirls to be over-rated.

It was supposed to be this casual fighter game, but it was so complicated that nobody without a background in Tekken or Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter could possibly understand it's working.

Put it this way, if you don't know what a dragon punch motion or a hadoken is, this game probably isn't for you. Not very casual.
  • A great game. Very challenging to master though(for me at least). The character animations on it are awesome too. Very unique IMO.

  • i was surprised.  this game actually looks really good and professional for a indie title.

  • Can't wait for the lobbies to get patched in!  Absolutely loving this game so far  :-D

  • meh
  • I'm glad it's going PC. We don't get much fighter love and this one looks great.

  • That game looks uber wacky.

  • Fan service for everyone!

  • Glad to hear PC gamers will be able to get their hands on this. One of the best Fighting games I have played in a long time, and only being $15 makes it all the better.

  • Really looking forward to this. I just wonder if my PC can handle it.

  • pc rules

  • This game moves to slow for my taste
  • Pretty cool, I might pick this one up.

  • Thank god!

  • Best news of the day, seriously I need this game...
