UPDATE: Thankfully, everything got sorted out with Sniper Elite V2, and we're happy to report that the game is now available.

ORIGINAL STORY: Sniper Elite V2 was set to release today, but it looks like the game has received a surprise delay.
We called a few Game Stop stores around the US, as well as a Best Buy here in Minnesota, and all are telling us that the game is not in stock. Game Stop said that the game has suddenly been set for a May 9 release in their computer systems. A delay this close to the game's actual release probably has more to do with a production or nationwide shipping error, rather than something being wrong with the content of the game.
We posted our review today, and liked the game quite a bit.

that reminds me...i need to get this demo. im very interested in this game, especially with co-op and no multiplayer. sounds like my kind of game!

The GameStop date change was an error. Most of their stores will be receiving the game tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.
But Iv been playing it....on steam. I just got it.
Ive already dropped this game for max payne, the delay doesnt give me enough time between each

This is a wierd situation. I went into Gamestop yesterday to see if it was in yet because I figured the original date was wrong because games usually release on Tuesday and the clerk told me it was coming May 9th... a Wednesday? Then a couple hours later I got a text message from Gamestop saying the game would be available today in the afternoon.
I don't know what to believe at this point. I'll just wait for the call when it comes in.
I'll purchase it when it gets cheap. But I did love this game's demo.
HA! Maybe in a week you'll post a story about how the game has been unreleased as of a month ago.
