The update will be available next month, and will address a number of glitches.
Capcom does not have an exact date yet, other than mid-May, for the update. The patch fixes a lot of character specific issues that will prevent infinite combos and makes sure that the game recognizes diagonal inputs better, among many other things. Maybe if they fix the whole "on-disc dlc" thing maybe I'd consider buying it.
I wonder how much it will cost.
Games are being patched up over and over again like quilts. It's sometime what needs to be done, but really, make the game playable in the first place guys!
