The lights are on
Electronic Arts recently announced an update to the SimCity series, a franchise that hadn't been touched since 2003, and it looks like it may want to continue with the Sim series.
Electronic Arts filed a trademark for the word SimOcean. It doesn't necessarily mean a SimOcean is in development. Electronic Arts could be making sure it owns the name before anybody else tries to grab it.
We recently compiled a list of all the Sims games and the ocean was one of the few areas of the globe not simulated when Sims were at the height of their popularity.

Sounds unique. We'll just have to wait and see if unique translates to good.
Wait... there was a game like this a while back... where it was like an underwater simcity where your people were like Fish, Rays, and Scuba Divers and houses were like pods.. and the city was in shallow water... What was it called, I only ever saw it on X-Play once.
If it has posieden somewhere in it I'm in.
Sim Ant, that is all.
godizlla lives in the sea.
Hopefully it will be in the vein of the old sim games like earth, city and ant.
Interesting, they need to make a bundle of some of the best Sim games
Haha! I loved sims city! I saw a trailer for a Sims City 5... maybe that's what the ocean trade is for... considering most of the footage for the trailer focused on islands surrounded by water...
I guess it is only fair that someone copyrights the ocean; now they can sue the poor people who swim in it.
That would be interesting.
