Report: More Evidence That The Next Call Of Duty Is Black Ops 2

A pair of Target branded reserve cards have appeared online lending more evidence to the ever expanding pile of Black Ops 2 leads.

The cards, discovered by IGN, are saying that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will release on November 13, which certainly sounds reasonable for a Call of Duty release. We will know more on May 2, when there is a planned reveal.

  • well. this is... fake?

  • As someone who hates FPS games, especially CoD I was surprised when I actually liked Black Ops. The story was interesting and the multiplayer was actually decent. I refused to buy MW2 and 3 as after playing them at a friends house, they were just carbon copies of the previous games. I might actually buy this one, as long as it is similar enough to the original Black Ops to make it enjoyable.

  • In other news, Call of Duty: 2013 is under development and will release next year.
  • after buying the current call of duty with its reused graphics from two years ago and 50 dollar subscription (that i didnt get) i sold it to gamestop and got Battlefield. i wasnt that impressed with it but i know for sure im done with call of duty. Maybe with shooters all togeather.

  • I LIKE!

  • I'll be surprised and excited when it's announced that someone was surprised about this...

  • May 2nd announced that it takes place in the future and IGN tries to say that what they meant all along

  • I work at target. I assure you they're 100% real. saw em today for the first time.

  • How is it that people can keep saying terrible things about one of the best-selling and most popular video game franchises of the past decade, not to mention the most prolific? People say all the time Ford makes crappy vehicles and they continue to sell top-selling trucks year in and year out. Therefore maybe the critics don't know what makes a great truck. I'd have to say the same to all the trolling people commenting negatively on every COD article that surfaces. Clearly, your thoughts of the games being absolute crap don't add up. I, for one, find each new piece of info exhilirating(pardon my spelling)! Keep up the good work, Infinity Ward and Treyarch! Activision??? not so much, but the devs rock! Games are arguably the most relevant forms of art and entertainment around today and COD's numbers don't lie.
  • this is exactly one (leap) year from last years reales.

  • i enjoyed Black Ops very much, the only one i enjoyed and purchased. So BO2 is pretty interesting. And zombies>>>kuh-bOOoom. not gonna lie though...a little burned out from FPS. Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored are welcome though.

  • I think making a WW2 themed Call of Duty would be more original...

*ponder what that would be like with this generation's tech*

  • If you people buy this...

  • Looks cool. Can't wait for the reveal on Tuesday.

  • I'll buy it, play the **** out of zombies, and never finish the campaign if the past is any indicator...

  • The first Black Ops sucked. I'm not buying this because it is being made by Treyarch. Zombies mode isn't fun to me at all, especially when you've played games like Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, and House of the Dead. I hate that Activision still lets this crappy game developer make Call of Duty games. Whoever can say that Black Ops and/or World At War was better than any of the Modern Warfares are idiots.

  • I know a game I won't be buying this Holiday Season!

  • To predictable. Called everything down to the date.
