The lights are on
UPDATE: Dragon's Lair is coming to XBLA with Kinect support, and now there's a trailer to prove it.
It also has a release day of May 18, if the game's Xbox Live Arcade page is to be believed.
Yesterday, we reported that it looked as though Dragon's Lair was coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Now it's official. Players will be able to take control of hapless hero Dirk the Daring using Kinect, too.
According to Microsoft's Play XBLA blog, this is the first game on XBLA that will support both Kinect and controller-based inputs. Judging from the screen above, helpful icons will pop up when you need to react.
This is great news for fans of classic arcade games, or for folks who enjoy watching animated knights collapse into piles of bones over and over and over again.

Looking forward to it .
wow, old games never die, they get revamped for kinect!
I always thought this game was very hard when I was a kid plugging the arcade cabinet with quarters at Chuck E Cheese. Looking forward to giving this another try. For me, it was like a cartoon version of Dark Souls
I bought the PC version a few years ago. Played it for 10minutes and haven't touched it since. This is definitely one of those games where the nostalgia factor outweighs the actual 'fun' factor. Unless this game is $0.99, I'm gonna pass. Now, about 'Space Ace..'
I wonder how many deaths the slight Kinect lag will result in...
How many times has Dragon's Lair been re-released lately? Seems like it's been in the news a lot as of late.
This is cool. I may pick this up when it releases on XBLA.
Haha wasn't this game super hard?
Excited it's coming to XBLA,not so excited about the Kinect functions.
I can't really see this working with Kinect with the lag. But at least they're trying something new to the peripheral.
