The lights are on
It looks like we now have a solid idea of what Rayman's next adventure is going to be like. A trailer for Rayman Legends has leaked online, featuring plenty of gameplay footage that sheds light on what the Wii U's touchscreen interface brings to the game.
Players will be able to interact with environments by tapping and sliding their fingers. For instance, you may have to lift a platform (and your team) by dragging your finger upward. Rayman Legends also brings new characters, levels, and minigames to Rayman's world. In one nifty demonstration of the Wii U's near-field communication tech, a player is shown physically placing a heart-shaped object on the Wii U's screen, which then heals the characters in the game. If you've played Skylanders, you have a pretty good idea how this works.
Take a look at the video below, and stay tuned for more details on the game.

One less cool E3 announcement. The game itself looks great but the whole Skylanders thing ruins it for me, except for maybe seeing what Ezio can do. Can't wait for it.
Hopefully this will come out on more than Wii U.
Isee alot of people up here talking about how there is no point in their new controller that nintendo need to have a controller like the competition. My take is why do we need three consoles that do the exact same thing if thats the case they all should just merge into one big company and make one console together it'll save people money. Its a good thing they thinking differently then the other companies thats what they do best no matter what other people say.
its funny also for people who say they wont buy a Wii U because they don't like the controller. DON'T USE THE TABLET CONTROLLER!! lol, you'll have the option to either use a classic controller pro, Wii remote on its side, Wii Remote and Nunchuck, or the tablet controller.
Assassin Creed and Prince of Persia?
That would be fun!
Did you see the guy place a Ezio on the controller right before the end?
Cool. So what could be considered downloadable characters have been transformed into tangible figurines. My 5 year old will love it, he conquered origins. I'm sold, adding $60 to my wiiu savings: $480. . .
If DLC was like this where you can actually buy something physical, that would be pretty awesome. Like statues, figures, cards, etc. instead of just buying the content online. That will solve the problem with people who want the DLC but don't have internet connection! That's like a win/win situation right there!!
I'm not saying get rid of the online DLC, I'm saying that this would be another route/option that they can give to the consumer. People love options.
wow, this is actually the first time ive seen the actual wii u controller and not just that tablet thing
I have mixed emotions about the new art style. Really liked the hand-drawn animations from Origins but that being said this still looks quite nice.
Btw in the video it said "Wii U Exclusive Content" - does that mean the game will also be for PS3 & 360 as well?
using phycial merchindice as dlc and powerups nice at some one's house and they have the tablet and they are god of the platforms becauce wii u only supports one tablet ill have to see that out also person placeing ezio on the tablet the would be 6 kinds of epic i dont see why not there from the same company so they woulndnt have to worry about rights
No way! Ezio!!!
THEY COULD DO SOME AMAZING STUFF WITH THE AR CAPABILITIES
I'm hoping it's just the art style of this game because it doesn't look nearly as good as the PS3 Rayman Origins IMO. I thought this thing was supposed to be powerful?
wii u looks like an outdated tablet pc with way to much frame around the screen
That was one of the worst trailers ever lol...
