The lights are on
It looks like we now have a solid idea of what Rayman's next adventure is going to be like. A trailer for Rayman Legends has leaked online, featuring plenty of gameplay footage that sheds light on what the Wii U's touchscreen interface brings to the game.
Players will be able to interact with environments by tapping and sliding their fingers. For instance, you may have to lift a platform (and your team) by dragging your finger upward. Rayman Legends also brings new characters, levels, and minigames to Rayman's world. In one nifty demonstration of the Wii U's near-field communication tech, a player is shown physically placing a heart-shaped object on the Wii U's screen, which then heals the characters in the game. If you've played Skylanders, you have a pretty good idea how this works.
Take a look at the video below, and stay tuned for more details on the game.

Not badmouthing the game, but... if I see another title with "Origins" or "Legends" in it, I'm going to freak out.
It looks like they're taking a lot of aspects from the recent Vita port, looking forward to this.
Holy Crap. You can summon Ezio in a Rayman game. Now I HAVE to get a Wii U.
Ezio's everywhere now
epic, can't wait to get my hands on one
That actually looks pretty cool.
You know. I keep hearing people talking about this "controller too big" concern.
Understand that it's more about the ergonomics and grip design that's going to determine the comfortability of the controller.
Countless people at E3 2011 and online say it feels great to hold.
Unless you're 2 years old with baby hands. It's not going to be a problem.
I'm almost 100% positive that it's going to be fine.
Rayman Legends looks great, I'm having a blast playing Orgins.
As for the Wii U, I don't think I'll be purchasing one, but the features of the tablet controller look very interesting. I'm excited for E3 to learn more.
Dang I need a timely source of income.
