The lights are on
Update: Creator Edmund McMillen has announced the specific date for The Binding of Isaac's large and only expansion.
McMillen told Joystiq that the expansion hits Steam on May 28.
----------------------------
Original Story: Fans of Edmund McMillen's The Binding of Isaac will have plenty of new content to cry their way through this May. Keep reading to see what's included.
The expansion, entitled Wrath of the Lamb, will be available in late May and add 50 percent more content to the game. According to an old tweet from McMillen that has been archived on NeoGAF, the expansion will contain "10+ bosses, 100+ items, 20+ enemies, 4 chapters, 1 character, 6 rooms, 40+ unlocks, 4+ new tracks, [and a] new final ending." Even better, the expansion will only set players back $3.
Adam Biessener had plenty of fun with the base game when he reviewed it last October, and we're guessing the content in the expansion will be just as disturbing and fun.

Heh, I can't even beat the 4th or 5th boss, much less the 20 or so others that'll be left after the expansion comes out. >.<
I just picked this up last week. Fun game, kinda challenging picked it up the same day as Fez so I haven't played it as much as I should
I need to get this game. Looks interesting.
Throw in some slaughterable Nintendo references for their blatant censorship.
FINALLY!
AWESOME I LOVE THIS GAME
It's confirmed by edmund to be 80% more content, not 50%.
I've put 25 hours into this game somehow. More is welcome!
I'll be picking this up. Binding of Isac is pretty fun.
