Rumor: New Play Control Pikmin 2 Coming To North America This Summer
Update: We reached out to Nintendo to confirm the upcoming New Play Control! Pikmin 2 release and it responded, "we don’t have anything to announce at this time," so you can file this one under rumor for now.

The New Play Control! series takes GameCube games, adds some waggle, and re-releases the games at a lower price point. The next game to get this treatment is Pikmin 2. The game should be availble in June, according to the latest issue of Nintendo Power.
The updated Wii version of Pikmin 2 has been available in Europe and Japan for quite some time. I would like to think that Nintendo is releasing the game in North America to to get everyone excited about a Pikmin 3 announcement.
