The lights are on
Warner Bros. today announced the Game of the Year edition for Batman Arkham City. Too bad the game's box art is an awful mess.
I'm going to let the picture below do most of the talking, but there's a few things worth pointing out. At a glance you'd think the name of this game is "10 out of 10," but that's our review score. Also, the title is actually one of the smallest things on the cover (it's on the right-hand side).
Even better, it uses a review quote from GamePro, but that magazine no longer exists!
Too cluttered! the cover is too busy.
Shouldn't the title and title character be the main focus??? Or am I that old that this is a foreign concept?

That's pretty ugly. It looks like a movie poster for a bad movie where they just yell quotes that didn't exist. Oh...also, good thing they're following through with the new DC logo....NOT it's an awful generic look. Stop DC.

I don't think it matters much that they used the GamePro quote. It was a favorable review from a mag that existed at the time.

At least they gave GI the biggest lettering on the box! Dunno why they need all of those quotes to ruin the cover of the game. :/
